Summer has officially arrived and with the excitement of sunny weather comes great explorations. This summer we have a new contest for our Staff, Volunteers, Clients and Friends. With photography and poetry take a voyage through what homelessness, street life and the DI means to you and share these journeys with us.
The journeys are endless. The possibilities are endless. You can combine the photograph and poetry into one or submit separately.
For example you can take a photograph and be inspired to write a poem along with it or write a poem and take a photo that represents your words:

if You are Home,
and he, too, is home to You?
Can it be
that Home’s a place
where he and I meet,
in You?
Help us, Lord;
Help us each
to find our Home in You.
